                       10 days in Georgia that will rock your soul, mind and body
The best time to get experience is from the beginning of May to the end of September.


Expedition or unforgettable tour to Georgia takes place by plane, by bus, on foot, by train.
                    The start is from Tallinn or Helsinki to the destination – Tbilisi.

The 1-st day (Friday or Saturday)
The departure for Tbilisi from Tallinn or Helsinki. Arrival in the morning of the next day.

The 2-nd day
After arriving in Tbilisi there will be a coach trip to Mestia. The coach trip with stopovers lasts for about 9 hours. ( look at youtube- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb0pZr6ejLE)

Mestia is a small country town in the area of Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneth, the centre of Mestia region .
In Mestia there is the basecentre of the travelling companions. Accommodation at Bed & Breakfast. Supplying food for the hiking tour.

The 3-rd – 5th day
Wakeup at 7.30.  Breakfast.  Starting time at 9.00.
The beginning of a 3-days- long hiking tour along  the mountainous terrain of Georgia.
3 nights are spent in tents and meal is prepared with along-taken supplies.

The 6- th day
Wakeup.
Back to Mestia approximately at 3.00.
Accommodation at Bed & Breakfast.
Washing, supper, free time

The 7- th day
Wakeup.  At 10.00 by coach to Batumi. Accommodation in the hotel.

The 8-th day
Free time in the city. At beach. The sea. In the evening the departure of the train for Tbilisi.

The 9-th day

In the morning the train arrives in Tbilisi. Accommodation in the hotel, free time. At 14.00 the lecture about Georgian history, culture and wine in a wine bar. There is a possibility to taste and buy local wines.
17.00- 19.00 sauna with natural sulphuric hot springwater baths.
Festive dinner, the end of the tour.

The 10-th day
Wakeup.
The departure of the train for Tallinn or Helsinki.

The memo of the tour:
•    Before the tour there will be briefing at agreed time and place!
•    The minimum number of people in the expedition has to be 8 and the maximum number of people 16.
•    The daily distance is approximately 15 – 20 km.  The landscape is passable at  the regular tempo.   
•    Take along telescope walking sticks, a sleeping bag until -10 C, a mattress(foam pad), crockery, a head lamp, camp shoes (flip-flops), a rucksack (at least 80 litres)
•    Clothing according to the weather, comfortable trekking shoes
•    Travel and luggage insurance

From the tour guide there will be:
•    Tents
•    A stove with fuel
•    Experience and great love for mountains
